Located at the Hungry Trout Resort in Wilmington, NY the event will kick off our New York Chapter 2023 Rendezvous. Doors open at 5 pm for cocktails and dinner will be served at 6 pm. Your attendance will help support our work on behalf of public lands, waters, and wildlife. We hope to see you September 8th! SpeakersWe have three amazing NY based speakers scheduled for this dinner. Brant MacDuffis a taxidermist, a conservation educator, and the author of the popular new book, The Shotgun Conservation - Why Environmentalists Should Love Hunting.  Brant is going to give a quick history of how NY was the birthplace of conservation in America.   You can learn more about Brant at his website Immortal Animals and his Instagram stuffinmyapartment   Brandon Dale is an avid hunter and angler, fly fishing guide, outdoor writer, and MD/PhD candidate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is the New York state ambassador for Hunters of Color and serves on the board of directors for NY BHA and NYC Trout Unlimited. He will speak about hunting mentorship, “learn to hunt” programs and how to create the next generation of hunter-angler-conservationists. Her background includes ten years as an artist in New York, guiding float trips in Bristol Bay, and teaching telemark skiing.
