Have you ever wanted to experience a traditional deer camp? Then join the Oklahoma chapter of BHA for a classic deer camp Oct 27-29 at Copan WMA. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first deer season or you’re a seasoned veteran. Come out and hunt nearby public lands or just sit around the campfire with likeminded outdoor enthusiasts.
This is a come and go event, with camping from Friday to Sunday at the Washington Cove Campground with speakers Friday evening around the campfire, and a chapter provided meal on Saturday.
Hunters can experience various piece of public lands with multiple public hunting WMAs nearby including Copan, Hulah, Osage Rock Creek, and Osage Western Wall. These WMAs provide hunters both muzzleloader and archery only opportunities.
Campers will need to reserve their own campsites by CLICKING HERE to be directed to the correct website. These campsites have electric and water, with restrooms and showers nearby.
We are centering our camp around camp spots 84-93. Reserve your spot today to ensure you are close to the action!
