Join Wisconsin BHA for a morning of conservation work and lunch on Saturday, September 19th at Goose Lake Wildlife Area. Goose Lake is a 2,296-acre property that provides habitat and hunting opportunities for pheasants, deer, turkeys, waterfowl, and small game. Wisconsin BHA is the official adopter of this Wildlife Area!
We'll start the day at 8:00a with prairie seed collection and invasive species brush work. Lunch will be provided by BHA. After lunch, we'll wrap up the day with trash removal and parking lot cleanup. We'll meet at the parking lot at the end of Krueger Rd. This will likely be our last regular workday at the Goose Lake property for 2026. We will gather for a pheasant hunt in October to celebrate a year of successful stewardship work at the property.
We'll meet at the parking lot at the end of Krueger Rd. Please bring a pair of work gloves. If you have any questions, please email theogries@gmail.com.
BHA Stewardship Events are free to attend and open to the public, so invite your friends and familiesto join and give back to our public lands. Please RSVP and sign the Safety Wavier to confirm attendance.
