Join Ethan Cramton, Manager of Baillie Forestry Division’s Private Lands Program, NDA Level 2 Certified Deer Steward, and Audubon Society Endorsed Forester, for an in-depth, boots-on-the-ground assessment of a Western New York public land property. Ethan will walk participants through the terrain, forest composition, cover, browse, food sources, travel corridors, and other habitat features that influence how whitetails use a property throughout the year—and how hunters can learn to recognize those features on the landscapes they hunt.

This special BHA field event is limited to the first 10 BHA members to register. Space will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to registration through the event page. The exact meeting location and start time will be provided to registered participants ahead of the event. Come prepared to cover some ground, ask questions, and leave with a better understanding of how to read public land through the eyes of a deer—and a habitat professional.
