Curious about hunting, fishing, or spending more time outdoors but not sure where to start? Join Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Georgia Chapter for Pints & Public Lands, a beginner-friendly workshop series designed to help you take your first steps into the outdoors.
Each event focuses on a new topic (e.g., getting started with hunting in Georgia, basic fishing skills, public land access, gear essentials, and more), with a short, practical presentation followed by Q&A and time to connect with other newcomers and experienced mentors.
This time we're tackling fishing! Where to find public water, what you need in your tackle box to start, and how to go from the bank to the boat without feeling lost. Whether you've never held a rod or just want to fish new water, this one's for you.
