The Nebraska Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers will be hosting a volunteer event July 11th at 9am south of Gothenburg at the north end of road 410(see P on map)LINK HERE. Much of the Nebraska Game and Parks Open Fields and Waters land in the canyons in the southwestern portions of the state were affected by wildfires this past spring. Boundary signs lost to fire need to be reposted so hunters can access this land during the upcoming hunting season. If you are interested in helping click the link……… and sign up. Volunteers should be prepared to hike in steep terrain. Bring a hammer, small pack with water, and please join us to support Nebraska’s Outdoor Heritage!!!
