Join us on June 3rd at Buckhorn Lake for a Fish Habitat Project in partnership with the Buckhorn Army Corps of Engineers!
Volunteers and conservation partners will be working together on Gays Creek to help improve aquatic habitat by placing reef balls designed to create structure and shelter for fish populations. These habitat improvements support healthier fisheries, improve spawning and feeding areas, and help strengthen the overall ecosystem of Buckhorn Lake.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about conservation efforts taking place on our local waters while helping make a lasting impact for future generations of anglers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. Additional project details and meeting instructions will be provided closer to the event date.
