Come join the Iowa Chapter of BHA for the 3rd Annual BHA Bluegill Bash at Hickory Grove Lake! Wet a line with some likeminded anglers, enjoy some wild game, and have a chance to win some great prizes or raffles. All proceeds directly support hunting and fishing access on Iowa's public lands!
This event is family-friendly and open to the public, so bring your friends, families, and fishing buddies for an afternoon at the lake! Admission starts at just $10/person over 16 years old (Kids 15 and under are $5), and includes two meals, entry into fishing contest, and 1 Door Prize ticket.
*This event takes place during Iowa's Free Fishing Weekend—no fishing license required!
Schedule
12:00PM- Kick off the event with wild game lunch provided by Iowa BHA before setting out to test your panfishing skills.
4:00PM- "Weigh-in", with a prize awarded to the biggest bluegill.
4:30PM- Prizes and Raffles
6:00PM- Wrap things up with a fish fry and some cold beverages.
