Join the Missouri Chapter of BHA, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the National Deer Association as we partner for a volunteer cleanup at Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. Our primary objective is trash removal around the refuge’s two pump stations, expanding to other priority areas as time allows.
This cleanup is a critical step in demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the refuge as we continue to advocate for the FWS to open over 4,300 acres of Missouri public land to hunting and expanded recreational opportunities. While we continue to advocate and work with regional conservation partners, we need our members on the ground to show the strength of the BHA community.
We anticipate the project will last approximately three hours. Please join us, and if you have local contacts or organizations that would like to participate, please reach out to let us know.
