In conjunction with the Rally for the Rio Grande del Norte we will be offering stewardship work on Sunday July 26. Led by BHA Habitat Stewardship Coordinator Elden Aguilar, we will be removing old fencing from the Horsethief Mesa portion of the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. This area is no longer grazed and is mostly used for recreation. The existing fences pose a threat to deer, elk, and pronghorn by bisecting their corridors and risk of entanglement.

What to Bring
Long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, sunglasses, water, gloves and wire cutters (we will provide tools).
