Join Montana BHA and the USFWS for a weekend of fence removal along the Missouri River in the amazing breaks habitat of the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge. Come join us for a public land stewardship event where we will work hard to improve wildlife habitat and celebrate around the campfire in the Slippery Ann elk viewing area on Saturday night. We will meet at 9am on Saturday morning at the Lower Slippery Ann camping area and work until 5pm. We'll meet again on Sunday morning at 9am and work until it's time to go home on Sunday afternoon. You are welcome to come for one or both days and camp with us on Saturday night at Lower Slippery Ann. A wild game dinner will be provided on Saturday night, but please bring lunch, water, snacks and anything else you will need for the work days. Please RSVP if you are coming for either day.
Directions to the Lower Slippery Ann camping area: From Hwy 191 turn into the north entrance to the CMR Auto Tour Route. Stay on the Auto Tour Route for 13.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 201. Turn left (east) on 201 and proceed for 1.8 miles and then turn right (south) into the camping area with a vault toilet.
Note: The south entrance to the Auto Tour Route is closed at the Duvall Creek bridge due to construction work.

*Please only RSVP if you are serious about attending. RSVP numbers help us prepare appropriate meals, tools, and work and no-shows cost us valuable time and effort. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so we ask that you update your RSVP accordingly.
