Come join Washington BHA and learn how to safely carry and use bear spray. Biologist Bart George will take us thru bear behavior, best practices and then we’ll practice deploying inert spray canisters at a target. Each attendee will get a Counter Assault practice canister, belt holster and canister of bear spray, as well as a one year membership to BHA.

This Training will be led by outreach Coordinator for the Kalispel Tribe, and Hounds man, Bart George. Bart has led training sessions for both the Kalispel Tribe and other private entities in recent years, and is trained in both lethal and non-lethal methods of predator deterrent.
