Friend —
There's nothing I love more than when our BHA community comes together. This energy and the fire that powers the BHA rocket ship were on full display earlier this month at our 12th annual North American Rendezvous here in Missoula.
Our Rendezvous weekend - held over St. Patrick's Day, no less - was one I'll long remember. From our BHA members who traveled from all across the continent to Montana, the incredible show of support by our corporate partners and vendors and our action-packed seminar schedule to the hotly contested Chapter Cookoff (congrats again to Brandon and Paige for bringing home the hardware to the state of Washington), an all-star Campfire Storytellers lineup and conversations I had throughout the weekend, I was energized, impressed and, most of all, humbled. The commitment, dedication, and concentrated power of will that all of you bring to BHA's mission of conserving our public lands, waters and wildlife never cease to inspire me.

Land and Alaska Dave (Johnson)
So, in a word: thanks. Thanks to all of you who took time out of your busy schedules to join us at Rendezvous. Thanks to all of you who give your time, talent and treasure to our organization. Thanks to all of you who remain committed to our BHA mission and who advocate on behalf of our public lands, waters and wildlife.
Stay tuned for an announcement about our 2024 Rendezvous...coming soon! In the meantime, I'll be chasing turkeys, getting out on the river with my family, and dreaming of next fall's hunting season. I'll look forward to seeing many of you on the trail, down the river, or around the campfire.
Go! Fight! Win!
