Q: What did we do well?
A: Food. Food was smooth with the curveball of overflowing the banquet all. I really enjoyed the theater story telling before auction items since it was a sauna last year with no elbow room. Brewfest seemed to go smoothly again and we enjoyed our time. I’m sure the rain didn’t help the turnout, but it was still packed under the tent! I also really enjoyed the easy and convenience of breakfast in the atrium and the snacks table when available. It was a huge help to us vendors. Text message push notifications were helpful to know the plan but it seemed to be off the first day or so? But it was a great way to reach all attendees (hopefully) to inform when brewfest, story telling, seminars were starting. I enjoyed the seminars being duplicated for those who couldn’t make the one. I unfortunately didn’t make it to any but I liked that I had an option! haha

Q: What can we improve on?
A: I was a vendor and I am very happy to be a part of BHA and am really looking forward to the Boise Rendezvous! A few issue points I’d like to talk about have to do with vendor communication and sponsorship. I feel that vendors and registered attendees should be informed of specific timelines. I was never sent the schedule of events. I also had no insight on what the Thursday dinner event was about. I still don’t really know except a lot of people asked if we went. We were in town, but just didn’t know if we were invited or if we were supposed to buy ticket prior.
I was contacted 4 different times via email from a few different people for my banquet dinner attendees names- two of the 4 names were still spelled wrong.
The last issue is that we were sponsors of the event and we were referred as “TradBox” on stage at the Story Telling event. I was contacted by a LOT of mutual business friends who caught on and it was irritating.
All this being said, I am still very happy with the event and we will continue to support BHA!! I look forward to doing this again and hope that these few points might be addressed for next year. I understand that there is a lot of work that goes into each event and I want to say thank you. You all busted your ass and it showed!
