Washington AFI Introduction to Backcountry Scouting - Part One

Part one of the “Introduction to Backcountry Scouting” hosted by Washington Armed Forces Initiative in conjunction with the US Army 81st SBCT.

This is part one of our scouting seminar, a virtual event which covers topics that include E-scouting, public access, terrain assessment, weather considerations, and game animal behaviors. There will be a part two field event that is limited to 20 attendees, which will be selected from those who participate in this segment of the seminar. Field event attendees must be current Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, or Veteran currently employed by the DoD. Those members interested in attending the field event will be selected based on safety criteria following the virtual presentation. Details for the virtual event will be provided once you RSVP. Additionally, we will post them via Washington AFI’s social media. Details for the field event will be provided by attendees following selection via email.
