event_description: Join us for a morning of collaboration in public land stewardship. Indiana State University BHA Club, Indiana BHA Chapter, and Pheasants Forever/Quail Forever will be teaming up at Wabashiki Fish and Wildlife Area for hands-on habitat work enhancing a popular piece of public lands. Wear your work clothes and help us cut and remove invasive plants, build wood duck boxes, remove trash, and plant native shrubs. No prior experience is needed, and bringing additional hand tools would be appreciated. We will be meeting at 9:30 AM, EST at parking lot C-1 on this map: https://www.in.gov/dnr/fish-and-wildlife/files/fw-Wabashiki_FWA.pdfThis is an excellent opportunity to meet some like-minded folks and improve our shared public lands! This is our third year visiting the Wabashiki property and every year we can see the improvements volunteers have made around the property! After our hard work, we will be heading over to Afterburner Brewing Company to celebrate our hard work with a Public Lands Pint Night. Join us there to continue the great conversations as we share stories, tactics, and some laughs.
