Trashy Cat cleanup and fishing event will take place May 10-12 at Medicine Creek WMA! What’s Trashy Cat you ask? Trashy Cat is a weekend full of catfishing, trash pickup, and lots of BS’ing.
What to expect:
Bring your catfishing gear as we’ll be fishing and camping upstream of Medicine Creek Reservoir on the Medicine Creek. Setlines and trotlines are the preferred gear, but feel free to bring some heavy rods and reels. State regulations apply. Bring your tents if you’d like as we’ll be camping Friday night through Sunday morning just south of the Rd 735 creek bridge. Camping here is primitive with no restrooms or fresh water. There's a trail just west of the Rd 735 creek bridge. Drive south on that trail for 1/4 mile to the turnaround and we'll be there. Or camp at the lake and drive to our area. Camping at the lake is less primitive with bathrooms and shower houses available. Kids are welcome.
The trash pickup event will be Saturday morning at 9am. Meet at the Trail 10 entrance and we'll direct you to the trash pickup.
