event_description: Join BHA for a weekend of Trail Maintenance in the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness!Work will consist of removing a 25 ft. puncheon (a boardwalk over a swamp) on the trail to Pintler Pass and another 30ft. puncheon on the trail to Rainbow Pass. Volunteers will also help clear 25-30 drains on the Rainbow Pass and Pintler Pass Trail. Volunteers should be in good physical condition.Details forthcoming.All work tools will be provided, but volunteers should bring and expect to carry their own camping/backpacking gear, work clothing, a water bottle, and personal necessities. Meals and snacks will be provided.There will be free time in the evenings to explore the surrounding area, and we encourage you to bring a fishing rod, binoculars, and anything else you need to enjoy a weekend in the backcountry! Volunteers will receive a free dehydrated meal from our state-based corporate partner, Gastro Gnome. *Please only RSVP if you are serious about attending. RSVP numbers help us prepare appropriate meals, tools, and work and no-shows cost us valuable time and effort. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so we ask that you update your RSVP accordingly.
