Sand Hills State Park has been preserved for its sand dunes, grasslands, wetlands, and woodlands, and allows for hunting, bird watching and trail access. KDWP has recently added acreage and is needing volunteers to assist in bringing this new acreage into public use.
Volunteers may bring chainsaws and appropriate PPE, and all volunteers will need to bring their own gloves and eye protection. Likely to be hot and humid so dress accordingly and bring bug spray!
This event is open to the public and does not require membership with BHA, just an appreciation of Kansas's great public lands.
Please RSVP and complete the liability waiver below.
