Come join the Ohio BHA Chapter for an event ClimbCincy on Saturday, October 21 at 1:30 PM EST where Dr. Conal Roche will lead a discussion and demonstration on backcountry first aid and preparedness. Dr. Roche is a board-certified emergency room physician who specializes in wilderness medicine. He trains medical professionals on stabilization and extraction techniques, backcountry emergency preparedness, and response. Homeboy knows his stuff!
Learn how to prepare for any backcountry adventure and how to respond to an emergency when it happens. We will have a participatory demonstration and opportunities for lots of Q&A.
We will also have wild game on the grill and beers in the cooler for those who set up or renew their BHA membership.
After the event we will walk over to a local brewery, @urban.artifact, to continue the hang. There will be no charge to attend the event, but attendance is limited to 25 and RSVP is required!
