Welcome to the Ohio Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers!
Ohio is comprised of over 740,000 acres of either state or nationally owned public land, with over 20,000 acres of coastal access along our lake shores and river fronts. This acreage provides us with 4.2 percent of publicly owned land in our state that is accessible to our outdoor recreators, whether they be consumptive or non-consumptive users. As the Ohio Chapter Board of Directors, we are willing to fight to retain what land we have left within our state.
