We will be planting a combination of shrubs and trees in areas of migration for deer and elk. This project will provide important forage and habitat for deer, elk, and other wildlife during the toughest months. Winter is all about survival and anything that we can do/provide for the animals, the higher likely hood these animals will make it through to the spring. The area we are planning to plant is big game winter range, and having a higher quality forage in place will in return equal higher survivability which will hopefully equal higher recruitment.
