Calling all Western Region PA members! There are two locations in State Game lands 285 in Darlington, Beaver County that desperately need our help! Near the parking/entrance areas, there is a mountain of trash including tires, cat scratching posts, wood, and more bottles than you can shake a stick at. With the blessing of the PA Game Commission Land Management crew, we will help beautify this area. This is a great chance for BHA members and friends to show up and get your hands dirty for our cause.
Things to bring: Please wear good boots as there is a lot of glass in the area, and have a good thick pair of gloves, water and snacks. Contractor bags will be provided. A wheelbarrow or two would be excellent as well as rope and iron rakes if you have them.
Meeting Place: We will gather at the parking lot on Valley Road near the intersection of Cannelton Road and Valley Road at 6 p.m. See Map below. Coordinates are: 40.804526 -80.487283
Area Two: Our second clean up location is along Watts Road between Cannelton Road and the railroad tracks. Coordinates are: 40.792872 -80.495284
