The North Carolina Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers invites you to its inaugural Conservation Banquet at Blue Blaze Brewing in downtown Charlotte!
We’ll have a double pit smoker on site cranking out competition-level North Carolina barbeque accompanied by all the sides and fixins you’d expect and a few you probably wouldn’t.
This event is open to BHA members, non-members and friends. The basic ticket include entry into the brewing facility, dinner, two beers on us to get you started, a few raffle tickets soaked in luck, and the promise of an incredible evening hanging out with fellow hunter/angler conservationists! You can also choose to support us further and add a year of membership to BHA for yourself or as a gift.
The NC Chapter has been working hard and earning our place in the conservation community of this great state since 2018. Our members are committed, energetic, and changing what it means to be an active conservationist in North Carolina. We believe in what we do and have no doubt done some amazing things through bootstraps, thoughtful conversations, and firm handshakes. But, we want to do more, and more takes money.
Without apology, we are taking a cue from our legacy conservation partners and hosting our very first fundraising banquet! Of course, we are doing this our own way, which means this certainly won’t be a stuffy night catered to the well-heeled. At $50 per ticket, this event is an absolute steal. We trust some extra cream will float to the top through kickass raffles, fantastic auction items, and some good ol’ fashioned philanthropy.
We’ll have raffles and auctions that will include firearms, guided fishing and hunting trips, high-end outdoor gear, and a heap of amazing products and services from local businesses hailing from our great state.
Join us for a good time and help us do good things for wild places, critters and people who enjoy the outdoors!
