Learn up-close from an expert with a special in-person interactive butchering demonstration. Families are welcome! Included with your ticket: Butchering demo, drink tickets, campsite for Saturday night with access to fishing in the Catawba River, hiking, archery targets, and a social campfire!
Meg Montgomery, meat manager and butcher at Foothills Meats, will break down a whole fresh lamb and explain her process each step of the way. The techniques and tips you will learn are transferable to your next successful game harvest. Portions of the meat will be raffled off along with knives, OnX subscriptions, and other great prizes.
You might be grilling fresh meat that night on your campfire!
Camping on-site is included in the ticket price for Saturday through Sunday at 11 a.m. and we'll some great raffles and BHA merchandise on hand.
