We are an informed and engaged group of Montana hunters and anglers who value the challenge, peace and solitude that occurs with a quiet-use backcountry experience. We value the wild lands, wildlife and fish that make Montana a special place to live and worthy of the title "Last Best Place."
As an all-volunteer grassroots group, the Montana Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers works across our diverse public lands, from grasslands to peaks. We strive to protect large parcels of backcountry fish and wildlife habitat, as well as the opportunity for traditional non-motorized hunting and fishing experiences.
