Learn about AFI, conservation policies, and enjoy on evening of bowfishing.
This Dual Skills event is a learn-to-bowfish event. Join us for an evening of instructional and live action bowfishing on Lake Erie. No experience required (though knowledge on shooting a bow is helpful) and the boat and gear will be provided, along with pizza and sodas prior to hitting the water. Bowfishing will take place at night and with bright lights along the shore, so please come prepared with appropriate clothing and bug protection. There is enough for 8 people on the boat, so please RSVP as we expect spots to fill up quickly.
Attendees can expect to learn:
-Bowfishing basics
-Gear selection
-Fish processing
-History of Public land and waters
-The North American model of wildlife conservation
