Public Lands Month Stewardship Opportunity!
The Michigan chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is putting together a team of volunteers to participate in the 20th annual Mayor’s Grand River Cleanup in Grand Rapids, MI. This event pulls together a diverse group of people every year to clean up areas of the Grand River and four of its tributaries. Our team will be assigned an area the morning of the event. Muck boots or waders are recommended! The day starts at 8:00 am with a light breakfast and instructions and ends with an after-party including free lunch and local beers. This event is recommended for ages 12 and older.
PLEASE RSVP below and then watch for a follow up email with additional information on how to follow the mandatory pre-registration prior to the event (pre-reg is due by September 8th). This will be an excellent day cleaning up our public waters and a great opportunity to show folks what BHA members do on a regular basis!
