Grab your leather gloves and help the Washington chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife remove barbed wire fencing along the Golden Doe Unit in Okanogan County, Saturday, May 15th. The Methow has the largest migratory mule deer population in the state. As human development increases on the surrounding private property; the importance of improving and protecting these low-elevation winter habitats on public lands also grows.
Afterwards, we'll celebrate our hard work with a BBQ hosted by the WA BHA Chapter and WDFW.
