EVENT RECAP: North Dakota BHA Hosts Work Day

Last weekend, ten BHA members, including three kids, spent their Saturday removing old tree guards and picking up trash at Pipestem Reservoir. After a day's hard work, the group managed to fill several dumpsters worth of trash.                                   The work day was in partnership with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, who manages Pipestem Reservoir. Local Outdoorsmen Rally to Save the Cutoff

In early 2022, a private landowner illegally blocked access to a popular public hunting and fishing destination in East Texas known locally as “The Cutoff”. Montana Raises Record Funds for a Coveted Mule Deer Tag — Through a Public Raffle

Montana’s chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers today announced that it raised a record $56,620 for mule deer conservation by raffling a single statewide deer tag. The winner is a Washington State hunter who bought five chances at $20 apiece. The morning of May 11th was perfect. Blue, clear skies, a cool breeze, and air filled with excitement south of Bend.
