Located approximately 45 minutes south of Wichita, volunteers will have an opportunity to get a first-hand look at new, publicly-accessible upland and wetland habitat.
This project is open to members and non-members, and kids may also attend.
Volunteers will need to be able to cut down and remove cedars, and lift farm debris for disposal. Volunteers are encouraged to bring chainsaws and other tree removal equipment, but will be required to provide their own personal protection eqiupment (including ear/eye protection and chaps) and sign either the electronic liability waiver in advance or a paper waiver the day of the event. All volunteers should bring leather work gloves and eye protection.
We will finish up the workday with a cookout provided by BHA!
Come join us to help improve habitat for wildlife.
