Join the Kansas Department of Parks & Wildlife, Trout Unlimited, and Backcountry Hunters & Anglers to learn trout fishing strategies, practice catching trout, cleaning trout, and cooking trout!
All gear will be provided but please feel free to bring any fishing gear you like! Kansas Biologists and Wardens will be on hand to answer any questions you may have! A trout permit will be required for all ages to participate. (Can be purchased online). A fishing license required for anyone over the age of 16.
All are welcome at this free event.
The event will be held at Lake Henry in Clinton State Park on the Northeast corner of Clinton Lake outside of Lawrence Kansas. See directions and map below.
Lake Henry and its parking lot are located just south of the Park Office at 798 N 1415 Rd, Lawrence, KS 66049.
