Join us Sunday March 24th at Founders Brewing in Grand Rapids from 4-7pm EST for your chance to meet Backcountry Hunters & Anglers President and CEO, Patrick Berry! Patrick took on the top role at BHA January 1 and we are excited to have him in our state so early in his tenure. We look forward to hearing from Patrick about the present and future of BHA and how members can assist the efforts!
Accompanying Patrick at this event will be BHA Government Relations Manager Kaden McArthur, Habitat Stewardship Manager Brittany Parker, the Conservations Program Coordinator Trey Curtiss. These three passionate BHA professionals will be available to answer questions, provide feedback, and simply be part of the great comradery during the event.
This is one of the first opportunities for Patrick to meet with BHA members in the Great Lakes Region. Let's give him a warm welcome and let him know the public land movement is alive and well in the Mitten State!
This event is open to all ages. Doors open at 4 p.m. with remarks from Patrick and Kaden at 5 p.m.
We'll have some great raffle items from national and state sponsors, as well as merchandise available for purchase (including the first chance to get a great new "This Land Is MI Land" t-shirt design showing all the public land parcels in Michigan!).
The main Founders tap room will be closed for renovations so our gathering will be in The Centennial Room. The Michigan chapter is providing appetizers and a cash bar will be open, but there is no food service available due to the renovations.
RSVP is required for this event so that we can have an accurate number for planning.
ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS:
For Guests Entering: For this Centennial Room event please enter through our Administrative Entrance, as the Founders Taproom is currently closed due to renovations. Our Administrative Entrance is located at 201 Williams St. SW, just past the exterior entrance to our Company Store. We will have staff posted at the door should you require the use of an elevator.
