The Armed Forces Initiative is the BHA program focused on creating conservationists within the military community. In this event, we will start with a stewardship event, then go fishing on our beautiful local public lands. We will directly help maintain Parker Canyon Lake's natural beauty and accessibility. This is a great way to show that you care about stewarding our public lands. Attendees will be eligible to receive a door prize, and there will be prizes for the trash collection and fishing events as well.
In coordination with the Sierra Vista Ranger District, our Trout and Trash Bash will combine good conservation with good angling. We will start the event by gathering trash from the trails around Parker Canyon Lake. We will meet back up for lunch, then go fishing.
