Georgia BHA is participating in Camp Pontoon hosted at Pontoon Brewing Company!
We're ditching the daily grind and bringing the backcountry to the backyard - Pontoon is transforming our space into a buzzing outdoor playground where fellow explorers, gear heads, and fire-side storytellers all come together under one open sky. Whether you're a seasoned backpacker, a weekend glamper, or just someone who loves a good firepit chat, this event is your excuse to get outside and connect.
β¨ What’s happening all day:
ποΈ The Market – Browse a handpicked lineup of local makers, curated by Sudnat Studios. From hand-stitched patchwork hats and waxed canvas bags to ceramic camp mugs and trail-friendly skincare, you'll find gear and goods that feel as good as they look.
π Gear Trade & Swap – Clean out your closet and score new treasures! Bring your used (but still loved) camping equipment—tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, lanterns, cookware, you name it. Set up a blanket or browse the community piles. One person's retired tent is another's ticket to the backcountry.
π€ Q&A with Local Outdoor Non-Profits – Ever wonder how to get involved in trail maintenance, conservation, or youth outdoor programs? Our panel of local experts will be on hand to answer your questions, share volunteer opportunities, and talk about what it really takes to protect the places we roam.

- π Food Vendors – Fuel your day with bites from Nosh, Lemonade Oasis, and more! Think loaded tacos, warm bowls, and ice cold drinks because adventure works up an appetite.
- π₯ S’mores Station & Fire Pits – No campout is complete without gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate. We'll have the sticks, the fixings, and plenty of fire pits ready. Grab a seat, make a s'more (or three), and settle in.
- π΅ Live Music – Kick back with an acoustic sets from Chas Crawford from 2:00 - 4:00p. Stay for a Q&A with local outdoors experts from 4:00 - 5:00p and then join Dov Brenner for a fire side jam session from 5:00 - 6:00p!

- π Parking: Free & ample Pack your camp chair, bring your old gear, and come hang by the fire. No reservation required! Just show up, explore, and stay as long as the fire burns. Adventure starts here.
