Join Kansas BHA for a day of boots-on-the-ground conservation work on Saturday, October 3, 2026 on iWIHA property bordering Quivira National Wildlife Refuge. KS BHA is partnering with Ducks Unlimited to provide habitat improvement and clean up a recently enrolled parcel of iWIHA property.
We will meet up at 8:30 am on Saturday October 3, 2026 (see the location links below) to hack and squirt invasive Tree of Heaven. Workers may bring their own axes and machetes, Ducks Unlimited will provide herbicide and additional equipment.
Bring your friends, kids, and coworkers to join us! This project tasks for every skill level and would be a great project to introduce someone to public lands in KS.
We will finish up around noon and KDWP will provide lunch.
