Advocacy for our public lands has historically been championed by people from all backgrounds, political affiliations, and adventurers of all kinds. It is part of our rich celebrated history in the United States, to have and enjoy protected spaces. These spaces are on our watch, and our voice isn’t to benefit our generation but the next. It is part of the American promise, that the next generation has the same opportunities and freedoms that we do. The freedom to explore, to hunt, to fish, to climb, to camp. The opportunity to see an untouched landscape, to escape, unwind, connect. The choice for healthier living, protected waters, and untainted lands.

RRT along with Ohio Backcountry Hunters and Anglers are hosting this town hall to discuss the state of and current threats to our public lands. This will be an informational dialog while also providing a course of action for attendees. While providing a brief overview of our concerns we also hope to enable action through resources aimed at writing your representatives and having your voice heard. A positive path forward only exists with a more unified voice and demanding action from our representatives.

We will also have some tasty wild game tacos with all the fixings and beverages available for attendees as well as some great door prizes!

Come on out, learn about our public land and help us protect and extend this shared resource! The event runs 6-9 PM, and street parking is available in the area. Kids and chill dogs are welcome! No ticket necessary, registration here or at https://roadsriversandtrails.com/events/ would be appreciated!
