Curious about hunting, fishing, or spending more time outdoors but not sure where to start? Join Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Georgia Chapter for Pints & Public Lands, a beginner-friendly workshop series designed to help you take your first steps into the outdoors. Each event focuses on a new topic (e.g., getting started with hunting in Georgia, basic fishing skills, public land access, gear essentials, and more), with a Q&A session and time to connect with other newcomers and experienced mentors.
Our next topic is archery! We will have people who can answer your questions on getting started, what equipment you may need, and practice tips. We will also be talking about how our archery season has been going including close encounters (and misses), public land treks, and just general archery discussion.
Who this is for: Anyone new (or newer) to hunting, fishing, conservation, or public lands. Or anyone who wants to "talk shop" about this year's archery season. No prior experience needed.
