Summit Metro Parks is partnering with Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Cleveland Metroparks to host a sturgeon release for the 2026 Sturgeon Fest. Come join federal, state, and local conservation organizations as we celebrate the reintroduction of this ancient species. This family-friendly event will provide educational opportunities highlighting the immense efforts taken to improve the health of the Cuyahoga River and celebrate the successes that have gotten us where we are now.

The Ohio Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers will be at Sturgeon Fest, connecting with the people of Northeast Ohio and sharing our mission as a conservation-minded organization.
