Join AFI New England and Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife for the annual Maine Landowner Appreciation Day — a morning of hands-on stewardship work at Camp Gustin in Sabattus, Maine, in partnership with the Androscoggin Land Trust.

Camp Gustin and the adjacent Curtis Bog encompass 430 acres of conserved land managed by the Androscoggin Land Trust. Open to the public for camping, hiking, bird watching, hunting, and fishing, this property represents exactly the kind of accessible, working landscape that BHA fights to protect. Frontage on Loon Pond offers swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. This event will focus on trash pickup and trail maintenance to keep the property in great shape for everyone who uses it.

Light breakfast items will be provided. Come ready to work and enjoy a beautiful piece of Maine's conserved landscape.

Open to all members of the military community — Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star Families — as well as BHA members and anyone who wants to contribute to conserved public access land in Maine.

You do not need to be a BHA member to attend.
