Join IL BHA and the Waukegan Parks Foundation for a Pollinator Planting Party on August 12th at Henry Pfau Callahan Park. (8/13 rain day).

Be a part of this great conservation story! This site is home old landfill where the Waukegan Park District pumped the dredging of the neighboring pond. Illinois BHA, along with our partners will be planting wild grasses, flowers, and other native vegetation to create a prairie habitat and food source for pollinator species! Everyone is welcome! Pets must be leashed. The first 20 people will get some pollinator-related goodies.
