Public Lands Pint Night: Kenai Moose Hunter Meet-Up
Join the Alaska Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers for an evening of good beer, conservation, and conversation at Kenai River Brewing Co. in Soldotna on Thursday, August 27, from 6:00–7:30 p.m.
This month's Public Lands Pint Night will feature the Alaska Department of Fish & Game's Bull Moose Reproductive Health Study. If you're planning to hunt moose this fall, ADF&G is looking for your help collecting samples that will provide valuable information about the health and productivity of Alaska's moose populations. Biologists will explain the project, demonstrate how hunters can participate, and answer questions about the study and its importance for wildlife management.
Whether you're a seasoned moose hunter, preparing for your first hunt, or simply interested in Alaska's wildlife, this is a great opportunity to connect with fellow hunters, learn from wildlife professionals, and support science-based conservation.
Come enjoy a pint, meet other members of the hunting community, and learn how you can contribute to the future of Alaska's moose herds.
