August 15th at 10am. Exact location is TBD but will be near Flagstaff, Arizona.
This event is limited to 50 participants. You must be a BHA member to attend.
The Annual Mushroom Hunt is held outdoors. Please dress accordingly for Flagstaff weather. Helpful items to bring are water, a sharp knife, small dusting brush & basket or cloth bag. Please note the location & success of the hunt depends on the upcoming monsoon season. The actual location will be determined closer to the event date & shared on August 11th. If monsoons rains are too little we will have to pivot as there will not be mushrooms available to hunt.
For those interested, there is also group camping/potluck Friday the 14th. Please note in your RSVP for Saturday, if you plan to also camp Friday evening. This is a casual aspect of the event. Please bring food to share and your favorite beverage.
