Join the Florida Chapter of BHA in Tallahassee, FL for a Try Archery Event on Saturday, August 15th! Bring your friends and family out to Southern Ball Academy and enjoy a day out with archers of all skill levels, especially beginners/brand new shooters.

This event is a great way to try archery in a safe, low-pressure environment and learn from some longtime, expert archers. It's also a way to connect with the conservation community and learn what BHA is doing in Florida and across the country to protect, increase, and improve our public lands and waters, as well as our access to them.

This event will have some indoor facilities available as well as outdoor so the rain or heat won't shut us down. There is more than ample parking at the facility to accommodate everyone.

No gear? No Problem! We will have introductory bows on hand to borrow and try! Archers can bring their own equipment as well should they so desire.

After signing up, we will contact you to assign you a time slot to your liking. This will ensure all archers have some one-on-one time with a coach and plenty of opportunity to sling some arrows.
