Third Thursday Sporting Clays Meetup

Join Oregon Backcountry Hunters & Anglers for our Third Thursday Sporting Clays Meetup this summer! Running monthly from June through August, this event is a casual hangout to bring together the local hunting, conservation, and shooting sports community. Whether you're a seasoned upland hunter or completely new to shooting, this is the perfect opportunity to bust some clays and meet like-minded folks.

Thanks to a great partnership with ODFW, staff and certified coaches will be on-site to provide hands-on instruction, help with gun fit and mounting, and answer questions about bird hunting and shotgunning in general.

Important Event Details:

• Date: The third Thursday of the month (June, July, August)
• Time: 4-7pm – show up anytime during this window
  New shooters: please plan to arrive between 4 and 4:30
• Where: Redmond Rod and Gun Club (Redmond, OR)
• Cost: $10 - covers the cost of all your clays
• New Shooters*: ODFW will provide loaner shotguns, ammo, and dedicated instruction. (Limited to 8 new shooters per event).

Come meet some new folks, have a good time at the range, and brush up for waterfowl and upland seasons. Space is limited, secure your spot!

*If you're a brand new shooter, we're super excited to work with you! Please email Dan Scofield, scofield.da@gmail.com, to let him know you plan to attend and will need to borrow a gun and ammo.
