Join Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and the Bureau of Land Management for a hands-on habitat stewardship day spanning the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge and adjacent BLM lands in Walden, CO.

Volunteers will work alongside refuge & BLM staff, BHA's RESTORE Colorado Grant-funded Habitat Stewardship Coordinator, and local grazing permittees to remove obsolete fencing across these public lands. This project is part of an ongoing collaboration between BHA, USFWS, and BLM to modernize grazing infrastructure through a virtual fence initiative to reduce barriers to wildlife movement while supporting the working lands relationships that keep public land ecosystems healthy.

It's a full day of meaningful work in one of Colorado's most scenic high-elevation valleys, with free lunch provided.
