Join Pennsylvania AFI for a Dual Skills mentored dove hunt on Pennsylvania State Game Lands — a great opportunity for veterans and military community members to get into the field, learn the basics of dove hunting, and spend a day outdoors with fellow hunters.
Whether you're a first-time dove hunter looking to learn the ropes or an experienced hunter ready to share your knowledge, this is a low-key, community-focused day on some of Pennsylvania's managed dove fields. Space is limited to 10 participants, so sign up early.

What to Expect
- Mentored dove hunting instruction on Pennsylvania's managed game lands
- Time in the field with fellow veterans and military community members
- Guidance on dove hunting techniques, field ethics, and safety
What You'll Need
- A valid Pennsylvania hunting license and appropriate stamps
- Your shotgun and ammunition
- Weather-appropriate clothing and footwear
- Water and food for the day
Who Can Attend
This event is open to members of the military community — Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star Families.
BHA members interested in mentoring are encouraged to reach out to AFI to help on the event.
You do not need to be a BHA member to attend.
