Join Washington AFI and the Washington Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation for JAKES Day — a hands-on youth outdoor education event designed to inspire the next generation of hunters and conservationists.

JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics, and Sportsmanship) Day is built around getting kids outside and engaged with the skills and values that define the hunting and conservation community. Washington AFI members — veterans and military families — will serve as mentors alongside NWTF and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife staff, bringing real-world skills and a commitment to public lands into everything the day has to offer.
