Come join the Oklahoma Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, Quail Forever, Women on the Wing, and the National Wild Turkey Federation as we work to improve Spavinaw WMA for deer, turkey, and bobwhite quail! We will be using the hack and spray method to thin harword timber. All participants must have eye protection (shooter style sunglasses will work) and long sleeve shirts. We highly recommend all participants treat their clothes for ticks.
We will meet at the Spavinaw WMA HQ at 8:00AM and plan on working until at least noon (weather depending).
This event is a lot of fun and you will meet many similar minded people. Also as an added bonus you'll probably get some inside information on good places to hunt on Spavinaw WMA.
