Join a refuge ranger and Pat Saunders with Backcountry Hunters and Anglers on a special 'Learn to Clam' program. During this program, you'll learn about the history of local shell fishing, ongoing operations, salt marsh restoration, and how the health of the marsh and shellfish are linked. Then, you'll have a chance to get your hands sandy and dig! Clam diggers and bucket provided, rubber boots or shoes and pants you are comfortable getting wet recommended.
